Dear Sheila, I want to reach out and tell you how beautiful you are inside and out, full of grace and with a great heart. I am very proud of you and lucky to get to know you and call you a friend. I finished your book 2 days ago. I cried and smiled with you, I lived your book in just 3 days. And can’t imagine you lived it days in and out for years. I am full of emotions, and can’t really express it. I am not a a writer. My friend, I simply loved your book. You were able to express the feelings at each stage, the details of each instant was told and expressed at your age at that time: a voice of 4, 10, 14 and 18 years old. You didn’t tell the story as a matured lady, which makes the readers feel the exact moment. Also loved the way you shared the good times as well, which you hold on through the book. I left with a strong feeling of the power in you and us as human beings. We can survive and push forward for a good future. It’s a book about surviving. True life is not always dark, it has its ups and downs, and we can continue to create or at least try to create a better tomorrow. Thank you for writing this book, looking forward to seeing it on the big screen.
