This time last year, I dropped by SAVIS of Halton to make a donation  (see link below). Back then, no masks in a normal world.

I was able to donate more in 2019, but with this year’s book talks cancelled, I’ve had to rely solely on internet sales via my site here, or Amazon (in print or e-book) and Kobo. So – I’m still relying on book sales to raise funds for this wonderful organization, SAVIS. Please remember to let your friends know they can help me raise more by buying my book. They can check out reader comments on my News & Reviews tab.

Below is Shelagh Nuttall, fundraiser. She and other SAVIS staff are currently putting together festive baskets for the survivors of abuse that SAVIS supports via counselling, a 24-hour crisis line, advocacy, hospital visits, assistance in moving to safe houses, and much more. This is a worthwhile cause and I’m happy that sales from my book are going towards the organization’s needs – even more so in these days of the pandemic.
